Spoil Them Without Care

I wanted a tower of presents that were imposing and almost too large to contemplate. I wanted to depict being spoiled by so much stuff that the kids (and parents) are overwhelmed.

My first illustration perhaps shows that emotion better than the second!

Clearly, I haven’t got the hang of this yet.

I prefer the updated one and maybe that is half the battle because I do think the colours make sense, the perspective is better, the fairy lights add a little something.

But the first stack look like there are so many gifts they are going to tumble on top of you - and that was the idea…….ho hum……still learning!
